It's time for our annual Downtown Ridgeway Easter Egg Hunt where you can meet the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs and join in the Scavenger Hunt at Village Square. Basically, it's bedlam (lol) where age groups; 1-3 years and 4-5 years participate in an egg hunt and 6-10 years participate in a scavenger hunt. Great fun and good treats! The 2021 Farmers Market season begins May 22nd and runs until October 9th in Historic Downtown Ridgeway! Every Saturday from 8am-1pm, the Market will be open to selling local foods and goods from our friendly vendors to each of you! Keep in mind that Social Distancing and Covid Regulations will be in effect at the market until further notice.
The Ridgeway Farmers' Market is a registered pure Farmers' Market specializing in local farm fresh produce.
In conjunction with the Ridgeway Farmers' Market, the Art Market takes place on Saturday mornings throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall in Downtown Ridgeway (weather permitting). Each week, Art Market vendors will be located at Village Square (next to the Beer Store) and amongst Farmers' Market vendors along The Friendship Trail. The Ridgeway Summer Festival focuses on family fun and provides entertainment for the whole family. The festival features artisans, entertainment stages, Kids Zone, fabulous eats provided by downtown restaurants and street vendors to give you a taste of what Ridgeway has to offer. There are pony rides, magicians, clowns, a peddler’s alley, direct sales & commercial vendors, not for profit groups, Friday night concert, Saturday night street dance, Sunday car show and each morning a pancake breakfast is served on site by the Ridgeway Lions Club. The annual harvest celebration in partnership with the Ridgeway Farmers’ Market. It’s going to be the best yet as this little festival just keeps growing and growing. Set in historic downtown Ridgeway, the festival celebrates the harvest season in conjunction with local businesses and the Ridgeway Farmers’ Market.
The downtown streets are closed down the street from Elm Street to Hibbard Street for tons of family-friendly seasonal fun and games. Visitors will spend quality time with the family while enjoying the sights & sounds of autumn in Niagara. Admission is free! A family day of fun for the young and young at heart!
Celebrate the arrival of the Great Pumpkin with Ridgeway's finest wee ghousties & goblins as they venture out for their annual trick or treat parade - October 31st through Downtown Ridgeway.
Watch as munchkins, minions, super heroes, princes, princesses and costumed characters of all sorts descend upon Ridgeway merchants in search of sugary sweets & treats.
Each year's parade features over 600 students from area schools and is a long-standing Ridgeway tradition - Happy Halloween!

We'll have school choirs, horse & carriage rides, photos with Santa, Breakfast with Santa at the Ridgeway Legion, Christmas shopping, special activities & more for the little kid in all of us.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Discover the fare of over 30 breweries and 6+ artisan food vendors at The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts. A portion of Ridge Road by The Sanctuary will be partially closed to allow enough space for all the vendors (inside and outside). Please note; this is a 19+ event.
All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of South Central Ontario.

Housed in the 1874 Bertie Township Hall at 402 Ridge Rd.N., the Historical Museum features a program of permanent and changing exhibitions as well as a public archives with genealogy and local history information. On permanent display: "A Community of Communities," telling the stories of the areas that make up Greater Fort Erie. NB: the Museum is currently closed due to Covid-19
Much of the trail is located upon abandoned rail line, meaning it is relatively level and smooth - an easy ride for children and adults alike. The trail is used by walkers, hikers, cyclists and rollerbladers in the summer, and hikers and cross-country skiers in the winter. Of course, the trail is also wheelchair accessible.
